Dr. Joseph Umidi
A product of the early seventies “Jesus Movement” Joseph received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior together with his wife, Marie, in 1973 and has spent the last twenty seven years in pastoral, evangelistic, and equipping ministries around the world. Dr. Umidi is the Senior Director of New Life Ministries International. He has a passion for reaching the nations and raising up leaders.
Pastor Joseph has a Doctor of Ministry degree and has been a professor at Regent University for over 20 years. In addition to numerous leadership, prayer, and coaching manuals and articles, he has authored "Confirming the Pastoral Call" and soon to be released "Bridges of Transformation: How Coaching is Impacting the Ministry and Marketplace". Joseph and Marie, his wife of over 35 years, have one married son and three precious grandchildren. |

Dr. Chris Feucht
Dr. Feucht has an undergraduate degree from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia where he also did his residency. He is certified by the American Board of Dermatology. He practiced medicine in Missoula, Montana for 14 years before moving to Virginia. After working with Operation Blessing for 3 years, Dr. Feucht accepted the position of Director of Missions at New Life Ministries International. He and his wife, Nancy, have four adult children. |

Pastor Dan Backens
Dan Backens is the senior pastor of NewLife Providence, a multicultural,multisite, Presence-driven church with a vision to be a house of prayer, a house of worship and a house of Bread. He has served in the pastoral ministry of New Life since 1995. Before coming to Virginia, he pastored in the Midwest for 15 years. One of his passions is to help equip pastors for the ministry. Dan received a Masters Degree in Mathematics in 1985 and a Divinity Degree from Regent University in 1999. Dan and Rhonda have been married for over 31 years and have three adult children. |
